Out of Buenos Aires into the Frontier · May 28, 2008
These are photos from our first couple of days. Vists  to El Palmar National Park which has prehistoric palm trees and is preserved as it the land was when the Spanish arrived.
In addition here a a few of the shots of our day spent at Iguazu falls on the border with Brazil. We took close to a hundred photos there so here are the first few.....  ¨Poor Niagara¨ -Eleanor Roosevelt quote.
The palm plantation in Corrientes
A morning nature walk
Uruguay from across the river
The Palm plantation
More Uruguay from a historic site
Devil Throat -biggest part of the 200 plus falls
Walking back to the falls
The river seems so calm.
A flood in 1992 washed out the old walkway over the falls.
10 times better than Niagara Falls
Iguazu Falls.
